Abstract

This talk describes how TrueAllele® Casework has been used to analyze DNA mixture evidence in criminal cases in the United Kingdom. Starting with a bank robbery in Leicestershire, Dr. Perlin shows how the TrueAllele computer preserves DNA evidence that human experts discard. The talk explains the underlying science, and shows how to present objective DNA match results for complex mixtures.
