Cybergenetics TrueAllele eliminates United Kingdom DNA database backlog

Birmingham, UK

In the year 2000, the United Kingdom's Forensic Science Service (FSS) brought in Cybergenetics TrueAllele® Technology to eliminate their backlog of 350,000 offender samples on their National DNA Database (NDNAD). Within three months, Cybergenetics had adapted their existing genetic analysis TrueAllele system into a new TrueAllele Databank product for automated interpretation of DNA reference samples. Six months after TrueAllele was introduced, the DNA backlog was eliminated.
