Cybergenetics awarded National Institute of Justice TrueAllele Databank validation grant for DNA reference samples

Washington, DC

The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) awarded Cybergenetics a federal grant to validate their TrueAllele® Databank technology for forensic use in the United States. TrueAllele was the only technology at this time that could automate the processing of DNA databank samples and eliminate DNA backlogs. This award led to the first forensic validation of an expert system for offender DNA reference samples.
