Cybergenetics awarded National Institute of Justice grant for validating TrueAllele Casework computer interpretation of forensic DNA mixtures

Washington, DC

The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) awarded Cybergenetics a federal grant to validate their TrueAllele® Casework technology for forensic use in the United States. TrueAllele was the only technology available at this time that could automatically solve DNA mixture problems and produce probabilistic genotypes. This NIJ award led to the first forensic validation of a statistical system for solving DNA mixture cases.
