FBI approves Cybergenetics TrueAllele expert system for CODIS DNA database

Washington, DC

After a laboratory analyzes a criminal's DNA, the data must be carefully examined to determine a genetic type that can be uploaded to the FBI's NDIS database. Human data review is slow, expensive and error-prone. Cybergenetics TrueAllele® Databank technology automates this DNA review process, making it faster, more accurate and less labor intensive. The FBI approved the TrueAllele Databank computer system for automated DNA review that can be uploaded to the National DNA Index System (NDIS).
