Cybergenetics presents at Duquesne University continuing education course for lawyers on familial DNA database search

Pittsburgh, PA

The Cyril H. Wecht Institute sponsored a full day Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course at Duquesne University on the familial searching of DNA databases to find criminals. Speakers included former Alameda County Senior Deputy District Attorney Rock Harmon, Virginia Department of Forensic Science Director Pete Marone, Pennsylvania State Senator Stewart J. Greenleaf, Pennsylvania State Senator Jay Costa, Cybergenetics Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Mark Perlin, Federal Public Defender Lisa Freeland, and Carnegie Mellon University professor Dr. Jay Aronson.
