Cybergenetics gives talk on combining DNA evidence for greater match information at American Academy of Forensic Sciences meeting

Atlanta, GA

In science, more information can be obtained by using more data. The same is true in forensic science, where DNA data from multiple experiments can be statistically combined in a joint computer interpretation. The result is often greater DNA identification information. This AAFS talk describes how such data combination can be done. The Northern Ireland Real IRA Massereene Barracks attack DNA evidence is used as a case example.
